The severe TV dramas studio

It can be said that Korean TV drama is really often seen in Japan, and Korean boom was not temporary but it came to be established.

However, it is said that filming TV drama in South Korean is pretty severer than that in Japan.

The reason is that in the case of South Korea, the TV drama is basically broadcasted twice a week.

It is once a week in Japan, so it is able to take time to make dramas.
When it is twice a week, it requires double energy to make at one time.

Therefore, it is said that many actors in South Korea often break down due to overwork.

Furthermore, it is also because of the way of producing the screenplay in South Korea.

In South Korea, the screenplay will never be ready until the deadline.

Even though the outline of the story is fixed, the contents of the story are changed flexibly responding to the opinions of the viewer.

In drama TV series "Winter Sonata", which is very popular in Japan as well, Jun-Sang, a character played by Bae Yong-joon was supposed to be dead at the end of the final episode. However, because there were so many feedbacks begging "please don't kill Jun-Sang!" from it audiences, Jun-Sang and Yoo-Jin, a character played by Choi Ji-woo, ended up having happy ending.

Because such changes in how story goes occur frequently, actors and actresses can hardly learn and keep the story in their mind prior to the filming and they have to play their roles perfectly and puctually according to the script that was written just before the filiming starts.

In Korea, working in show businees can be included within "Physical labour" category.
